Every time I hear more about Miles’ life, I’m reminded again of what a serious and accomplished guy he is, and how that devotion has been channeled into healing the planet (which, no surprise, is what Aikido is all about). The interview combines a nice blend of the theoretical and the attempt (never 100% successful) at actually living out these deep principles of being… in… body’d. I don’t like the idea of “the marketplace” because it infers that our contributions are to be judged by how they are received/adopted in the world; but the ripples of our lives are not always visible or assessable on that level. Regardless, this wild romp of an interview between Mark and Miles is real and relevant (and not just for Aikidoka). — Thanks you guys.
