I also question the depth of the interviewer’s understanding of how people experience and reflect trauma; he ranted about examples that seemed to be experiences that would benefit from personal reflection as he sounded defensive and needing to prove a point rather than receptive. I am on the search for a more facilitative interview with Amber to get to the depth that I can hear she will be able to offer in the right context.

I can’t help but notice that the interviewer cuts off Amber many times, and so I miss hearing where she is going with things. I wanted to listen to the interview to hear Amber, yet so much of the talking is the interviewer. It feels uncomfortable to hear the interviewer cut her off over and over again. But very interesting, thanks.
